About Me
Howdy! I’m Rachel Hitt, a filmmaker, creative coordinator, and Texas A&M Visualization senior specializing in virtual production and visual storytelling.
I’m passionate about the way light, composition, movement, and atmosphere can shape emotion. My background spans from cinematography, gaffing, directing, producing, production assistance, event coordination, and virtual production, giving me both the creative eye and organizational mindset needed to bring ideas from concept to completion.
Over the past year, I’ve worked on professional productions, led event logistics for student-industry programming, helped lead multiple virtual production films, and produced my own senior capstone using an ICVFX workflow. As an award-winning director, I’m passionate about building stories with intention and I’ve learned how to balance creative vision with the organization, communication, and adaptability needed to bring complex projects to life.
At my core, I love creating moments that feel cinematic, intentional, and human, whether through a camera, a production plan, an event, or a collaborative creative process.
